Supporting our Clients during the Covid-19 Pandemic
Like many businesses, as soon as lockdown was announced, at Independent Paint Supplies we immediately followed the Government guidelines and closed temporarily for business.
A few weeks later, again in line with Welsh Government best practice for businesses with commercial clients who were still operating, we re-opened our premises in the Swansea Enterprise Park for limited hours for a pre-order and collect service only. We were able to do this safely, respecting social distancing rules, as we benefit from a large forecourt area where all items were placed for collection at given slot times for our clients. During this time we were open only from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 12 noon.
From the end of June, we have extended our opening hours from 8.30 am to 14.00, still for pre-orders and collections. We also started back with a limited delivery service on specific days for specific areas, as listed below:
Our management team will be reviewing all aspects of our trading processes over the coming weeks with the aim of extending opening hours for pre-orders, re-opening the shop (with appropriate social distancing measures) and increasing our delivery service across all areas.
