IPS Paint Supplies Enjoys 12 Months of Unprecedented Growth
IPS Paint Supplies, originally formed in February 2019, has enjoyed unprecedented growth over the past 12 months, despite the restrictions imposed by the Covid 19 Pandemic.
The business was formed following the sale of FMP Motor Factors to a major national brand enabling the FMP Directors Neil Melmoth and Colin Thomas to form the new company. Immediately, Joe Thomas, Stephanie White and Dom Thomas were appointed to the roles of Directors, recognising the need to have a young and dynamic team of decision makers in place to drive the business forward. Both Neil and Colin have an active role in the business, continuing to support the Directors in consultancy roles.
Other key developments since the formation of IPS include investment in staff and the IPS fleet of vehicles in order to guarantee a minimum of next day delivery for all order across South Wales. The company has also launched, the Aerosol Expert- a subsidiary company developed to meet the growing demand from the automotive, furniture, construction, and many other industries looking for highly efficient paints and coatings offered by aerosols. An easy to use website where customers will be able to purchase their aerosols, touch up pots & other ancillaries will be launched shortly.
Testament to the company’s reputation they were also invited to join TIDAL, a group of independent refinish distributors who are dedicated to offering national commitment with local care. TIDAL members are forward thinking independent distributors, that enhance their local business platform and open up national opportunities by being part of the TIDAL network.
As a result, IPS Paint supplies now boasts a client base of more than 1000 clients, runs a fleet of 10 vehicles and employs 21 members of staff across their headquarters and their delivery teams.
The next stage in the company’s development is to open a further depot in order to better service the growing demand for IPS products.
